This week we are chatting with Zach Bowhay. Zach is not only an absolute killer on the mountain, but he is also a down to earth, hard working family man. Zach was on last year and we chatted about DIY elk hunting. Specifically we chatted what it takes to become the 10% of successful DIY elk hunters like himself. Zach is headed up to Alaska on a DIY moose hunt this year and having done some DIY Alaska trips myself, I thought it would be a fun podcast. In this episode, we chat about what it takes to plan a DIY moose hunt, things to think about in the planning process, and some of the pitfalls we have had on previous Alaska DIY hunts. Zach has a new project that he just came out with called Hunt DIY, where Zach helps break down how to DIY hunt both out West and up North.
