In this episode, I am joined by my Missoula Montana buddy Rex Wolferman. Rex is a damn good hunter who had a pretty epic hunt last year with his trad bow, killing a great bull at just 15 yards. In this podcast, Rex takes us back to the highs and lows of last season and how it all came together because of a little tip he saw in an old hunting book. After falling short in this particular spot year after year Rex noticed something on a trail cam that took him down a research rabbit hole learning everything he could about high mountain elk behavior. It wasn’t until he found one little secret in an old elk hunting book that confirmed what he suspected. This little secret to my knowledge has not been shared in any of our 378 podcasts prior to this. I love that even after years of the podcast there are still little tips that pop up that have never been covered.
