Jonathan Metcalf is one hell of a good guy. He introduced himself a few years ago and it’s been cool to follow his journey along the way ever since. In 2019 Johnathan took one of the cooler Roosevelt bulls I have ever seen but what I love about this story is his journey and learning curve to get to that point. To say he earned that bull would be an understatement. Jonathan has put in an hour and hour and mile after mile to figure out this whole elk hunting thing. He is very intuitive when it comes to elk hunting and that is very evident throughout this podcast. I love success stories but I really love success stories from people who are passionate about elk hunting. Jonathan may have only taken a couple of bull elk but it is very clear to me that this is a student of the game if you will. He has done his homework and I think time will show that he is a great elk hunter.
Jonathan also runs a group called Kong Valley Collective which strives to inspire people to get outside no matter what you call success. Do me a favor and check it out or give it a follow on IG if this looks inspiring to you.
