Welcome to The Rich Outdoors Wapiti Wednesday, I wanted to carve out more time to focus on elk tactics and success so we decide we would dedicate an entire day a week to just elk conversations. I want to talk to both the legendary hunters as well as more DIY guys, to find out what is working and what is not for different hunters. At the end of the day, the podcast was designed to be my journey to learn and become a better hunter and elk hunting is by far the passion I want to learn the most about.
Todays guest is Brad Cantrell, Brad is a great elk hunter who has spent a lot of time chasing both roosevelt elk and rocky mountain elk. Over the Years Brad has guided elk hunts, filmed elk hunts, and just over all had a lot of experience in the elk woods. As someone who has been successful in both hunting roosevelt’s and rocky’s it was interesting to chat about his recommendations to hunters looking to chase both and the differences their behaviors. Brad is a part of Heavy Hitters Outdoors, be sure to check out their Youtube Channel for some great hunting videos.
