In this episode, we are trying out a little bit of a new format. On this episode of the podcast, Dirk Durham of Phelps Game Calls joins me on the podcast to talk calling tips and tactics, but also we let the JJ and Sasquatch level Patron’s join in the call to help ask questions via chat. This is a cool conversation because we let you the listener help ask the question and in turn answer the questions that most affect you guys!
Dirk is not only one of the better elk callers I know and truly a great elk hunter. We dive into some scenario-based calling setups and cover what to do in each. Another thing I appreciate about dirk is that as an Idaho guy he has a lot of experience chasing bulls that are heavily pressured and hard to call. This is not advice from a guy that hunts big fancy ranches or bulls that have never been called to.
